Bring your group to Charlotte Trolley for a fun-filled trolley ride, full of fascinating glimpses at our city’s history.  We offer a number of programs that we can customize to your group’s interests, needs and abilities.

  • Trolley Ride With Docent - See our city's landmarks as you take a leisurely guided tour on Charlotte's vintage streetcars.  Program:  45 minutes.  Fee:  $5/rider
  • Live & Learn - Learn how a trolley operates, and hear how Charlotte neighborhoods grew up along the trolley lines. Program:  90 minutes.  Fee:  $5/rider – trolley ride included.
  • Historic Neighborhood Walking Tours – We’ll lead your group on an easy walking tour through historic Dilworth, Myers Park, Plaza Midwood or South End.  See marvelous architectural landmarks and learn how trolley technology was instrumental in forming neighborhoods.  Program:  60 minutes.  Fee:  $60/group of 25.
  • Growing Uptown - Through role play, story time, crafts and play on our exhibit, children (ages 3-8) explore themes on transportation, rules and laws, and working together as families and communities.  See full roster of programs here.  Program:  30-45 minutes.  Fee:  $60/group of 25
  • Carolina Changemakers – (Designed for 3rd graders) - During an eight-week unit, students research the lives of Carolina Changemakers and create their own stage play about these influential citizens.  (Please call 704-375-0850 for fee.)
